About Course

DOT Annual Inspection Training

Course Duration: Approximately 55 minutes of videos and 6 quizzes (5-10 minutes each quiz)

DOT Annual Inspection Training Online provides a cost-effective, straightforward method for individuals to learn essential sections of The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, which Qualified Inspectors must know. Whether you’re part of a small shop or a large fleet, your company can easily implement this training to ensure consistency among all inspectors. This helps dispel misunderstandings about Commercial Motor Vehicle regulations and reduces roadside violations for your trucks or your customers’ trucks.

DOT Inspection Training requires that inspectors meet specific “qualifications”. These include a Training Course such as this one and thorough understanding of particular sections of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSA). DOT Annual Inspection Training Online comprehensively covers these crucial sections and more. After each section, you must complete a brief review before advancing to the next part. You must also pass a general knowledge quiz at the end to receive your certificate. You will also be provided with a qualifications form along with a certification of completion. The Qualification form also suggest the following along with this training course: At least one year experience as a mechanic or inspector in truck maintenance at a commercial garage, fleet leasing company, or similar facility or in a motor carrier maintenance program. Please keep both the certificate and the signed qualification form in order to qualify for conducting inspections.

The course allows users to progress at their own pace, enabling them to log in and out as needed. Users have full control over their learning experience, with the option to revisit and review material as many times as necessary to ensure a complete grasp of the content before moving forward.
